HI ,
Someone told me that I-140 have to be applied 45 days from PERM approval ? Otherwise PERM will get cancelled. Is that true. Can anyone help here.

I came to US on J1 visa (exchange visitor program) and got waiver and converted to H1 visa. I could not apply for I-140 due to employers problems and now I have short of time for H1 extension.
Can I convert my visa to J1 again? Is H1 to J1 visa possible? Please advise.

hey everyone I was trying to download the swift 3d because a pparently it sweems like a cool one but the download trial wasn't accuriable anyway I looged into the net store and checked the full program, it costs about 159$ so I guess I want to download the trial first to give it a try before spending that much amount of money so if any of you know where to donwlaod it just plz post me a message with the title"FOund what you wanted" on your subjectt space.=)

You should inform USCIS of the address change within 10 days. See AR-11 form on USCIS website for further details.

LCA for people who work from home
I work from home and one week a month i go to my consulting company office
I live in Texas and company is in NJ .
my question is should the lca be filed from nj where the company is
or should it be filed from Tx where I live and work from home

My H1 is expired and i am working in EAD now. I am going for vacation next week. I dont have valid I94 (as my H1 is expired, my I94 also expired), does it cause any problem when i reentry?
Does immigration give new I94 when we enter with AP? I appreciate your help.

It depends. It may become 'U" but if your application is already 'pre-allocated a visa' during June, then you may still get some news in July.
But I do believe it will not become 'U' in July. Maybe in August and September it will become 'U'.

I have a question. I heard about new premium processing rule for 140.
my friend�s six years is going to complete in next month , he has applied labour certification via PARM 10 months back and its pending, did he is eligible to file 140? Or he has to live next month?

I have added my wife to green card application. Can you please let me know when she can expect receipt notice and Fingerprint Notice and when she can expect her GC. TSC is processing my/her application. My Priority Date is in Aug 1st 2006.
I am one of the ones who had missed the July 07 boat. My PD is finally current.
My attorney is getting ready to file all the items (485, EAD, AP etc) tomorrow.
How soon can I expect the FP Notice?
Also, since I am applying only now, how long before I can hope to see Green?

Hi,
My current H1 is valid till Feb 15 2010. My lawyer filed for H1 extension in Aug 2009, almost 6 months before the visa expiration date.
After 3 months my lawyer filed an enquiry with the CIS and CIS responded back saying they had sent an RFE on Dec 16th 2009 to my employer. However, my employer hasn't received any mail from CIS. Then my lawyer requested the CIS to send another copy of the RFE on Dec 30th 2009.
However, till date nothing has been received in the mail. Is there any way I can get to know what RFE has been issued by CIS?
It has been 6 months since filing my extension at CIS CSC and uptil now there is no news. Can CIS get any worse when it comes to H1 extensions..I don't think so.

Now that USCIS has dropped bomb by announcing the revised bulletin, do you think now they will be able to bring back the premium processing for I-140? or still they dont have time to "ensure" processing in 15 days.
